MemoryStick Mayhem

Three months ago I had never used a Sony MemoryStick. Now, I have four. And surprisingly, I use all four on a daily basis. I have two cards for my Sony PSP, and two for my S710. It’s crazy.

I promise, I’ll get those S710 themes out soon. Hang tight.

Podcast Favorites

With the recent release of iTunes 4.9 the podcasting scene has exploded. Over the past week I have listened to many podcasts from a variety of categories and I must say they all sound very professionally done. Here are a few podcasts that I listen to and I think you should check out.

  • The Engadget podcasts provides tech related news on the top stories from the site. If you like technology you will enjoy this podcast. [rss]
  • One of my recent favorites is Diggnation brought to us by former ‘The ScreenSaver’ hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. While still based mostly on technology, they provide us with insight on the top Digg stories of the week. These two work very well together and bring a lot of humor to their stories. [rss]

Check those out for now and tell me what you think and I will update this list as more podcasts are released.

Podcasting Is Here!

Today Apple has released a new version of iTunes that supports podcasting as well as a complete library of downloadable podcasts straight from the iTunes Music Store. They offer a variety of podcast categories that range from Arts and Entertainment to Comedy and even News and Politics as well. I have downloaded and listened to about five different podcasts and I must say, this will make iTunes much more popular with those who haven’t tried it or are just too lazy to switch audio software.

iPods have also been updated to support podcasting. It seems like the only models that have been updated are the 4G, the mini, and the shuffle. If you are like me and have one of the older third generation iPods then we seem to be out of luck for now. Hopefully Apple will update the firmware to support it, until then we can just listen to them with iTunes. But check it out if you haven’t already, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
